Dog beds come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and price points these days, but how do you know which is the best? When your dog has graduated from puppy beds (aka the chew-everything-in-sight phase) it might be time to invest in a high-quality bed that’s durable and also provides support to their body after a long day of exploring.
PetFusion makes some very well-regarded beds that tick all the boxes: comfy, washable, sturdy, water-resistant. When they sent us one test out, we were eager to see what our office dogs would think. The result? We were surprised to see how attached our dogs got to this bed.

The bolsters (a.k.a: couch arms)
This bed boasts an outer ‘bolster’ that your dog can use as a headrest or to nestle under, depending on their preference. We found the bolsters made a great headrest for all of the dogs in our office.
4-inch memory foam
“That looks comfortable” is the first thing we heard after unboxing this bed. Before we let the dogs give it a go, a few humans tested it out, and we can confidently say that we would also use this bed! The memory foam reduces joint pain and is great for dog’s health, mobility, and energy. The memory foam is especially beneficial for senior dogs who may have arthritis or occasional body aches.
Tear-resistant materials
We get it. Some dogs like to dig, and dig, AND DIG until they get their bed to the right comfort level. This bed will stand up to their high expectations of that perfect spot.
Water-resistant cover
My senior dachshund was recently diagnosed with Cushings disease and sometimes has accidents in her crate. With a typical dog bed, I have to put the entire bed into the washing machine to clean it, but the PetFusion bed has a great water-resistant liner that makes cleanup super-quick and easy for me.

Various sizes for all dogs
Big? Small? They’ve got four sizes for you to choose from. My dogs (a Boston terrier, a dachshund, and a pug) like to all share one bed. I discovered that the Large could fit them, plus one or two more!

The bottom line
Overall, we were impressed with the quality of the PetFusion bed, which lives up to the “ultimate” in its name. If your dog likes to burrow, like mine, I throw a fuzzy blanket or two on top, and he’s happy as can be!
The bed was a 10/10 with our dogs, and we hope yours will love it too.
